INTERVIEW | Jonathan McReynolds Talks About Hit Single "Gotta Have You" Ahead Of His Album Release September 18th | @JonMcreynolds

Rising gospel star Jonathan McReynolds recently sat down in an exclusive interview with Electronic Urban Report/EUR associate, LaCora Stephens, to discuss his new hit song: “Gotta Have You.”


This young man is known for his unique take on the “Christian sound.” He wowed the world with his powerful voice on his single “No Gray,” then he remixed it with Indie.Arie forcing the world to stand on their feet. And now he’s at it again.

This time around he joined forces with the one and only Derek Blanks who directed the video and as Jonathan admitted, they both added their tweeks to “get it together.”

Because of the singer’s look and fresh sound, McReynolds has even been featured on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” drawing a new fan base for the young artist, but he doesn’t stop there. When LaCora asked what inspired the song and video for “Gotta Have You,” he mentioned his heart for the homeless.
